Big Changes

See this picture above? You are looking at our new home for the next year or so. Yes, we are moving. Lance was offered the position as a job coach trainer at the DI in Centerville, UT and we have accepted the position. This will be a pretty huge change for us. We are moving to a completely new city where we don't know anyone. We are leaving behind family, friends, a great ward, and a great community.

I moved to Logan right after graduating from High School and I have been here ever since. That is nearly 6 years! I'm not sure if I have ever stayed in one city that long before. I have come to love Logan dearly and part of me thought that we would stay here forever. When I think about leaving, sometimes I get a little emotional, even though I know it is what we are supposed to do. I can't explain it, but I feel like the Lord wants us in Centerville right now. When Lance first applied for the job, I had this feeling deep inside that it is where we would end up. That was before the first interview even. And now, less than two weeks later, we have given two week notice at Wal-Mart, told our landlord we are moving out, and signed a new lease in Kaysville (pictured above). Things are happening really fast and I'm still just trying to wrap my head around it all.

We have been extremely blessed in Logan. We live in a super nice place for minimal costs. In our search for a new place close to Centerville, we quickly learned that we would likely be paying twice as much for rent (or more) for half the space we have now. It seemed the only way we would be able to get a decent place for a good price was to live further away and commute a little bit. Then suddenly, I stumbled across this place and I am so happy that I did. Not only is it super close to Lance's work, it is pretty big and at a great price. The neighborhood felt really family friendly and overall just really good vibes from the place. I signed the lease then and there. I feel really good about it and am grateful I found it. We'll be moving in about 2 weeks, so I guess I better start packing!
